SCOPE OF WORK

• Offload autoclave using hydraulic crane
• Use telehandler and skates to pull autoclave indoors
• Place autoclave in place using Traksporter, skates, and jacks

CUSTOMER CHALLENGE

We were presented with the challenge of installing a new autoclave system inside a new aerospace facility. The path of travel created complications including spanning a pit in the floor. This obstruction doesn’t allow a direct path for the autoclave to be skated into its final position.

OUR SOLUTION

We offloaded and drifted the autoclave into place using our traksporter and skates. The Traksporter allows for extreme agility and precision to move large equipment. Without the Traksporter, the pit would have needed to be filled or plated to position the equipment, which would have increased cost and time of install. Once the autoclave was in place, we used jacks to set into final position at the edge of the pit.
