What is project buffering?

Project Buffering is the transportation of a project’s equipment from the manufacturer to a secure staging location near the construction site, ready for installation as soon as the project calls for it to reduce delays. This allows the manufacturer to get the equipment off their production line as soon as possible, while ensuring the equipment is nearby, waiting, and ready for installation by our highly skilled riggers. Project buffering reduces unnecessary labor fees and ensures that our customers meet all schedule end dates.

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT

  • We handle all the logistics involved with transporting, storing, and setting equipment.
  • We are in constant communication with your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to understand true equipment production completion dates.
  • We stay engaged with the site project construction team to monitor schedule and site readiness to receive and install your equipment, while also managing the outflow of equipment.
  • We are constantly updating a live tracking sheet for our customers as changes come in for each location, so we, and our customers, always know where the equipment is and when it is set to arrive.

  • They are specially designed for oversized and overweight equipment.
